
Indian Hills is a neighborhood located about 50 miles outside of downtown Los Angeles and is part of Jurupa Valley and Riverside. Riverside is the birthplace of the California citrus industry, and home of the Mission Inn, which is the largest Mission Revival Style building located in the United States. Other than being rich in history, Indian Hills Riverside is characterized by its proximity to Hollywood, which makes it a frequent filming choice by movie producers because of its many architectural buildings and features.
Indian Hills is considered an affluent neighborhood in the new city of Jurupa Valley. Back in the day, the old Indian Hills was characterized by grassy knolls and rolling hills. Jurupa Valley was incorporated in 2011. With an estimated population of around 80,000, the area includes the communities of Glen Avon, Mira Loma, Sky County, Pedley, Belltown, Rubidoux, Jurupa, Sunnyslope, Jurupa Hills, and Indian Hills.
Indian Hills has a higher per-capita income compared to other areas in Jurupa Valley which makes it a desirable area to live in. Even if it is considered upscale, Indian Hills is still considered a small-town because it is still quiet and further away from the metropolitan areas in Southern California. Transportation
Getting around in Indian Hills is convenient and accessible by car. In terms of public transportation, the transit system in Jurupa Valley is maintained by the Riverside Transit Agency. Interstate 15 is the main highway that crosses over Jurupa Valley, and it serves the western areas. On the other hand, the California State Route 60 runs the northern side of the city.
There is a small airport located in Jurupa Valley called the Flabob Airport, which is a public-use airport. If you need to fly commercially, domestic and international flights are provided by the Ontario International Airport which is roughly 11 miles away.

Indian Hills Golf Club
A popular place located in Indian Hills is the Indian Hills Golf Club which is a premier golfing destination for visitors and locals for the past 50 years. Nestled in the foothills of Riverside County, the golf club has a lot of elevation changes and provides spectacular views of the green hills surrounding it. With 18 holes, the Indian Hills Golf Club was opened to the public in 1965 and is open all year round for golf enthusiasts.
Galleano Winery

Located in Mira Loma, the Galleano Winery was founded by Domenico Galleano in 1927. The winery itself has not changed a whole lot since 1927 and is open for daily wine tastings and they also offer tours on weekends. The winery is the oldest opened during the Prohibition area. Step back in time with this winery which is still owned by the original family and in the same location.
One of the accolades that the winery carries is being a Riverside County Historical Landmark and is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Even if you don’t drink wine, the winery is still worthwhile to visit because of its unique and rich history.
Jurupa Mountains Discovery Center
This discovery center is a fun and educational place for kids of all ages, as well as adults. It is a large outdoor facility that offers a variety of recreational and family-friendly outdoor activities.
The discovery center is a popular choice for field trips and family fun. They also offer learning expeditions for a minimal fee per person. Jensen Alvarado Ranch
This beautiful ranch can be found in Jurupa Valley, California, and is maintained by the Riverside County Regional Park. The ranch building is the first kiln-fired brick building in Riverside County. It is also known as the oldest non-adobe structure in the Inland Empire. The wood used to build the ranch came from the San Bernardino Mountains and the architectural style is Danish. There is a winery on the ranch which houses the museum.
The Jensen Alvarado Ranch Historic Park and Museum encompass 32 acres. Visitors are exposed to volunteers and guides dressed in period clothing, and they demonstrate butter churning and making tortillas. The property is considered a California Historical Landmark and is listed as part of the National Register of Historic Places.
Rancho Jurupa Regional Park
This regional park has everything that you are looking for in terms of outdoor adventure. It is a great spot to take your kids because of the playgrounds and a splash pad inside the regional park. The park has campgrounds and is open to tent camping and you can rent cabins as well. It has two lakes that you can go fishing in and a mini-golf. There’s an abundance of shaded areas where you can gather for picnics and parties. With a lot of acreages, there is a lot of space to spread out and spend quality time with your friends and family.
Vernola Park
If you are looking for peace, then this park is the right spot for you. With a paved walking path surrounding a small lake, visitors can leisurely walk around the park and take in the beauty of nature. This park provides an easy walk or trail to ride your bike on.
